About NPAC

Mission: Creating Community through Art

Vision: Newberg Public Art Council supports exhibitions, public art projects, and programs that enhance the beauty and culture of our community.

Values: We believe that art has the power to spark imagination, strengthen our connections, and to celebrate and explore the vibrancy and rich heritage of our community.'

History: The Newberg Public Art Council was born in 2019 from two separate groups of local individuals who wanted to see our community become more beautiful. The Reverberations Project was a grassroots effort by a group of locals trying to connect our community North to South through an art pathway crossing highway 99W on Blaine street. The Newberg Downtown Coalition’s beautification committee was formed with a goal of beautifying the downtown core along a path from East to West. These groups united and formed the Newberg Public Art Council, dedicated to bringing art and beauty to the entire community, North to South, East to West.
